One special home is needed for an elderly, special-needs dog who was rescued days ago from a shelter in Charleston, West Virginia. The 15-year-old Shih Tzu, named “Arnold,” is mostly blind (he may see shadows), mostly deaf (he can hear loud noises only) and he has age-related maladies, including teeth which are in poor condition and a thyroid and eye condition.
Jessica, the woman who saved Arnold from the animal shelter, wrote,“I was hoping you could help me get the word out about Arnold in hopes of finding him a wonderful place where he can live out the remainder or his life or a rescue that takes in hospice cases.” She added, “Thankfully a rescue I have worked with in the past has paid Arnold’s bill but they can’t take him.”
Arnold will need to take medications for the remainder of his life – but he still has a life left to live. All that is needed is someone who can see past his maladies and age, and into his heart. Please help Arnold find that one special person by sharing this information with others.
